Katherine B. Ross Education Scholarship
PURPOSE : To assist college students and graduate students pursuing a degree in educaiton. ELIGIBILITY : Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. In addition, the applicant must be currently enrolled in a college or university granting a four-year degree or post-graduate degree. This scholarship targets under-represented minority students (African-Americans, Latinos, and Native Americans) who are residents of New Castle County, Delaware or students matriculating at a Delaware college or university. It is particularly aimed at African-American females. The recipient must provide proof of enrollment before funds will be dispensed. Award : $1920 nonrenewable Appication Deadline : December 31st |
Academic Scholarship
PURPOSE : The purpose of the scholarship is to assist graduating high school seniors in obtaining a college education and to promote Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. This scholarship targets under-represented minority students (African-Americans, Latinos, and Native Americans) who are currently high school seniors in New Castle County, Delaware. It is particularly aimed at African-American females. ELIGIBILITY : Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.o on a 4.0 scale. In addition, the applicant must be currently enrolled as a senior in a Delaware High School. Award : $1,000 nonrenewable Application Deadline: December 31st |
