"Impacting the Lives of Young Girls Everyday"

Our mission is to foster the educational goals of college-bound young women. The program is operated under the auspices of the Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. Epsilon Rho Zeta Chapter  and the R.O.Y.A.L Miss Blue Revue Committee. The R.O.Y.A.L. Miss Blue Revue is a comprehensive mentoring program, focusing on etiquette, community service, and college preparation.  The goal of the R.O.Y.A.L. Miss Blue Revue program Is to provide young ladies the opportunity to be involved in educational and personal growth activities that can open doors for them as they transition into womanhood. The program is open to young women who are sophomores or juniors who attend high school in Delaware. The R.O.Y.A.L. Miss Blue Revue Debutante Program will culminate with a Debutante Ball held in the fall every biennial year.

The benefits to the prospective debutantes include:
  • Learning social graces and etiquette
  • Effective communication skills
    • Interview techniques for scholarship
    • Effective resume & cover letter writing
    • Scholarship essay writing
    • Financial planning strategies
    • Strategies for building self-esteem and handling peer pressure
Eligibility: 
Those applicants who will be high school sophomores and juniors during the year preceding the Debutant Ball will qualify to participate as a debutante, requiring full participation in all workshops, activities and fieldtrips. In addition, debutantes and their male escorts will dance and be presented at a formal Ball. The debutantes will also be eligible for an educational scholarship award.
  • Be a current high school freshman or rising sophomore
  • The program runs from September  of the participants junior year through September of their senior year  or from their sophomore to junior year.
  • The program culminates with a Debutante Ball in October of every other year.
  • Prospective debutants must provide a program application, essay, personal reference and one letter of recommendation.
